Do you or any other wine drinkers have those wine glass hanging stick- things that you jam down in the sand and your wine is safe and sound? There is a loop and you put the stem of your glass in the loop.

It is a metal stake with a loop at the top- like you would use in the garden.....HEY.....those would work! The loop has a small enough opening to stick your wine glass stem through it.

I got that as a gift, along with a thing that you jam down in the sand (or dirt) to hold the wine bottle. re-gifted it to my good friend - Timmy - hope you are enjoying them Timmy!

Don't have one but have heard of them. I thought about getting one but was not sure how it would fit in my suitcase!

So they don't work? Seems like a good way to use Plastiford wineglasses and they wouldn't tump over in the sand.:idontno:
