Michigan but someday in SoWal as well
Beach Runner: I love fried zucchini flowers!

Miss Kitty: Definitely try the prosciutto and mascapone cheese pizza if it's still in fashion this year (it's my avatar photo right now). Truly awesome. I ate one about every other night when we were in Italy last year (and then hired a trainer and have been working out with her twice a week to make up for that summer...).

The only grappa I ever had was in Italy and I thought it tasted much like gasoline would taste if I drank it. Horrible stuff. But it could have been the cheap stuff because I was in my early 20s. Perhaps there's a higher end grappa that tastes much better.

I'm in Hong Kong now getting ready to teach this week and then off to Maine for a lobster vacation. Veeery good food around here in Hong Kong. But my heart still belongs to Tuscany and SoWal. There's a Red Bar in Hong Kong, too.

:lolabove: ...saw that too, Mango! When I spoke with George, I likened his situation to the woes of SoWal. ;-) We saw George's "little" spread on our way to lunch. The windows were open and someone was watering the flowers, but alas it was not GC. His loss. We also floated by Donatella Versace's place...very nice. I can only think about Maya Rudolph on SNL doing the best imitation of that bottled blonde mess!!!

How boring. Georges' windows were open and no f-bomb? :dunno:
Don't understand the need for a new parking lot.

and a Paris, Tennessee (20 miles from here) and a Paris, Kentucky.
Enjoy Paris!! Are you having funn?

I think there's a Paris, Michigan, and there's definitely a Hell, Michigan.
And a Paris Hilton.

Have funn in LV, Herm?s (love the orange stuff - wonder why? :dunno: ), and VC&A land. Mr. K. needs to add to your collection!

I always cry when I'm standing at the Place de la Concorde, looking at the La Tour Eiffel in one direction, the Champs d'Elys?es and the Arc de Triomphe in another, and the Louvre behind me. I guess it's because I always read about theses places in books as though they were part of a fairy tale that really didn't exist and never thought I'd be lucky enough to go there. Once I was so excited that I stood with my head out of the sunroof going down the Champs d'Elys?es (sort of like Tom Hamks in "Big"). Embarrassed the he*l out of Beach Jacket and D.

Just got back from shopping. No labels that I had heard of, but bought the cutest dress (needed one for a wedding) and tops at a department store that was outstanding...Galeries Lafayette by the Opera House. Then sat outside and had a coffee and watched the people...my favorite sport! VC&A is right next door! I agree...it is so beautiful it can make you cry.

My heart will be in Paris with you.

 ...wish you were here. I would love to see Paris with you and your spirit!!! I am off to the L'Orangerie to finally see Monet's Water Lillies! The conceirge checked and found out the museum was open this afternoon! I am a lucky Kitty!
