Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Volunteer Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Part time/ 20 hours per week

Primary purpose: The role of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support to the Executive Director and the staff of the organization in the areas of calendars, correspondence, answering incoming inquires from the public, etc. Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director.

Duties:
Handle appointments via a master calendar for the ED and the staff as needed.
Correspond with external parties such as donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to provide them with necessary information or to steer them in the right direction.
Handle all incoming mail and forward such mail to the appropriate party.
Check the master inbox for all electronic correspondence to insure timely responses are made.
Work with the external accounting firm to smoothly handle all incoming invoices to insure they are processed appropriately and in a timely manner.
Help coordinate the organization’s volunteer program by checking the website for sign ups and handle organizing training and orientation for all volunteers.

Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc., HEALTHY HAPPY KIDS, is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization, established in 2005 in direct response to Walton and Okaloosa counties’ large population of families who are unable to access high-quality health services due to the unavailability (or inadequacy) of insurance.

What We Do... Our organization facilitates the delivery of comprehensive, direct medical, dental and mental health services to schoolchildren whose family income falls below certain measures throughout Walton and Okaloosa Counties and surrounding communities.
