Darn, I missed 'em again. I started watching about 10 minutes ago and I hear a ton of birds but have only seen one duck.

There's something swimming around, but I don't know how to control the camera to zoom in.

you can't zoom, but you can enlarge the screen by selecting the white button below it (to the right).

sometimes the camera zooms in on something automatically (or someone is operating it occasionally, I don't know...)

you know, several times over the last week I thought I heard drums and some kind of music in the very distant background, but then thought nah, I'm imagining things because its in africa... who else has heard this?

The singing and drums were right out of a movie.

oh great, now I'm watching a giant polar bear sleep on the snow, while watching the water hole (nobody there). I'm going to have to invest in at least one more computer monitor. :roll:

It's a jackalope! We had those when I was in college in Texas! Very large population in Texas! I had a six pointer mounted...but someone stole it.

This is grayt. I leave the sound running while I am doing my work. So relaxing. Love hearing the birds chirping too. The other night I heard the bull frogs. I sent this to a fellow colleague who loves to travel and has been to Africa before. Just found out he is suffering from cancer. He e-mailed me that he just loves this link. Thanks Cil for posting it.

I enjoy listening to it all day too, and I leave it up during the night sometimes. this is my favorite website. I check in with the panda and polar bears occasionally - those are great too.
