It used to take a couple of weeks for me to stop hating my haircuts because the guy did whatever he wanted, despite what I asked for. You'll get used to it. I'll bet it looks great, Miss Kitty.

BTW I did change stylists recently -- he doesn't make any extreme changes and does basically what I want, maybe convincing me of a slight modification.

I always say, "don't give me my money's worth." I NEVER want to wait 3 - 4 weeks until it's normal again.

Well, I was ready to go a bit shorter, but like my hair has been in a bob for so long and the same guy has been cutting it for years. Everyone said go to the chin....and you know where my chin is now. So, I thought what the hay. It really isn't bad in the front, but the back looks like rats have chewed on it.


And I told him..."what have you done!!!!" "It looks like rats have been chewing on my hair!!!" And everyone began saying "oh, it looks so good and SEXY and it's all the rage." SEXY...no RAGE...yes.

kitty, the more you describe it, the more I'm thinking it is a cute do, but just very different so shocking to you and anyone who knows you. rats chewing on the back is kind of a choppy thing that I really like on some folks, and want to have it myself!

live dangerously my kitty, and just go with the flow. learn to love it and tell everyone else to FO. I would not like to be the kind of person who was afraid to ever do anything radical with my hair - how boring is that - especially since your hair is guaranteed to grow back!!!

on the other hand, I have had some effed up dos (because I'm not afraid) and at that point I just go have it all whacked off and start over.. life is not without its risks...

I just had mine all chopped off today...since I am going to Europe and have no idea what kind of "hair conditions" I'll have to deal with, I figured the shorter the better...a little gel and I'm good to go with the European punk style....:roll:
