I just thought I would post a running journal of my time in SoWal.
You all know about my first night...Grayton sunset and then crashing Dwight's party!
Yesterday...Kurt & I took a ride to PC, It is not such a bad place downtown! :D
We had lunch at Uncle Ernie's per IBD's suggestion!
We hit Publix so I could get groceries for dinner...Mediterranean Shrimp!
Toots got home with Spidey!:wub: At some point we started drinking wine, I made dinner,we ate dinner then Toots and I went over to Franny's and had more wine! :blink: We tottered home and I pretty much crashed! I have to pace myself...I am going to be here for a while! I plan on going to Pandora's next Tuesday night to see the Waco Ramblers for the first time!:clap_1:
Not sure what we are doing today...but I'll let you know!:biggrin:

NO....mayby another time? He is a sweetie...but he looks like an 18 year old! I think he is going to do quite well!;-)

Last night IBD and Cork came over to help Spidey babysit me....:biggrin: Little IBD and Spidey had funn together.

Kurt & Toots went to Fabrize for dinner and said it was wonderful! We met Fabrize and his wife (?) night before last at Fonville Press.
I plan on going there for lunch one day next week...I have it on good authority that he serves an amazing tuna sandwich. Everything is made fresh...so it is not a place to grab a quick lunch...but it is a great place to have a delishous lunch!

Last night IBD and Cork came over to help Spidey babysit me....:biggrin: Little IBD and Spidey had funn together.

Wish I coulda been there!! Sounds funn!! :biggrin:

The kids really enjoyed the "tooters" :floor: :floor: I have a beautiful painting to take home, too! Little IBD is quite the artist!

the kayaking was great! I am addicted! The Mers came over with their Kayaks, Uncle Timmy brought his and Jessifunn went on Kurt's kayak. I rented a two seater from Big Daddys for me & Cork! I am happy to say that we did not tip over once! Kurt & Spidey canoed up the creek...WITH a paddle!:biggrin:

We had a little dinner for the weary kayakers! Did I say little?? :floor: I mean a lot of dinner! Tootsie made wonderful marinated chicken which Kurt grilled, pasta with gorgonzola sauce, wonderful salad accopanied by some yummy breads! :drool: :drool:
Mermaid provided a sandcastle cake! We were joined by SJ, John R and Chickpea for dinner.

can't say i didn't try to tip them. they were just too sturdy. i guess they had their sea legs on :roll:

yes....the kayak was delivered :D but no connection was made :idontno: We talked for a while...he remembered the jello shots the most...guess I didn't make much of an impression :roll:

A little food? I just TOTALLY blew my diet by eating ALL of my doggie bag pasta AND my chicken. Guess it's no dinner for me tonight :( . Thank you guys so much for the good food and the company. Missed you IBD and Frannie, thought you guys were gonna be there.

Believe me Allifunn. YOU are NOT easily forgotten, girl. :wub: Any man that doesn't see that is not too bright if you know what I mean :doh:
