I just thought I would post a running journal of my time in SoWal.
You all know about my first night...Grayton sunset and then crashing Dwight's party!
Yesterday...Kurt & I took a ride to PC, It is not such a bad place downtown! :D
We had lunch at Uncle Ernie's per IBD's suggestion!
We hit Publix so I could get groceries for dinner...Mediterranean Shrimp!
Toots got home with Spidey!:wub: At some point we started drinking wine, I made dinner,we ate dinner then Toots and I went over to Franny's and had more wine! :blink: We tottered home and I pretty much crashed! I have to pace myself...I am going to be here for a while! I plan on going to Pandora's next Tuesday night to see the Waco Ramblers for the first time!:clap_1:
Not sure what we are doing today...but I'll let you know!:biggrin:

yes....the kayak was delivered :D but no connection was made :idontno: We talked for a while...he remembered the jello shots the most...guess I didn't make much of an impression :roll:

OMG - is the kayak delivery guy who I think it is?

All I can say is you can do SO MUCH better - seriously.

Yep, Saturday night - dinner at Ruth's Chris with Audie and Mr. Audie! I'm so excited. Now I gotta beg the IT guy at work for a laptop so I can join in the slumber party festivities! Speaking of slumber, I'm about ready now!

Yesterday was a nice, quiet day. I went out on my own, had a bf burger at Snapperheads (and a huge plate of onion rings :wub: :drool: :drool: ) and then just drove around. I stopped in at Eastern Lake Nursery and made a few purchases :roll: I drove east on 30A to Rosemary...turned around and headed for Seaside. I bought a book at Sundog, stopped at Publix for OJ and went back to Kurt's. It rained most of the day, so it was a great way to spend the afternoon!
The evening was quiet...leftovers and early bed...
Tootsie woke me up and we went to pilates....my first time! Cork was there, too. I really enjoyed it...but I mostly liked the instructor, Brigett! We have convinced her to start posting...so look for her and lets give her a SoWal welcome!:clap_1:
Today we are lunching ...don't know where yet?
Tonight...beach and then Pandoras.

I'll bring my digital camera (and hopefully we won't get camera shy like Johnrudy and I did!)

Not having any luck with the laptop - wonder if the Courtyard has a business center with a PC for public use that doesn't charge an arm & a leg? We shall see.

The bay was great this evening...just 5 of us on a boat...drifting around and then ....moonrise!!! Thank you Franny & Mr Franny!!!! Relaxing evening!:wub:

I drove over to Seaside and painted a plate at Fired Up....mostly a wavey abstract in different hues of turquoise and pale lime green. Should be interesting . Spidey is babysitting me tonight :biggrin: ...pick up pizza. Later tonight, I don't know what is going on....any one have a suggestion? :idontno:
