Last week I was involved in a car accident. My car was rear-ended, nothing that a new set of brackets for my bumper couldn't fix. I filed a police report because it happened by a dangerous driveway and I wanted a record made of it (hope springs eternal that the city will take notice and do something about it :razz: ).

Today's mail brought three letters from lawyers. All wanting to know how I was feeling and if I'd like to sue for injuries. (NO!)

Wonder how many I'll get tomorrow?

And why are we just now hearing about this Mermaid??? You are holding back on us!! I am glad you weren't hurt!!! Are you sure you weren't hurt? Doesn't your back or neck hurt??? Or something? I am just kidding. I can't believe they actually sent you letters in the mail. How did they know??????

dyer, garofolo, mann, and schulz by chance ? i was on a jury for a dude who basicly rode his motorcycle straight into the path of an elderly fella and was suing the poor old guy for some ungodly amount, plus his wife was suing also for pain and aggravation - what a crock !

I was going to post last week but then you would have had to listen to me whining!!! I was SO irritated about getting hit. It was like adding insult to injury. My car is already old and already dented. I bring down the tone of any neighborhood I drive to. :bang: And I have to live with it!!! Child #2 doesn't go off to college for another year and a half so it's really not worth it to get another, nicer car since I have to share it with her. Especially when she commented to me "Mama, you know I'll probably get in a car accident since I'm a new driver." :bang: I hate it when kids know statistics!!!

I hope you are OK! :blink: If you have whiplash, I could be easily persuaded to come to Indy and chauffeur you around- give you a ride to Trader Joe's or Costco. I am craving a pot pie. Then we could shop shop. Then your new ambulance chasing attorney would tell us to stop 'cause you are supposed to look injured!
