just got back from Lake Lanier where I spent 5 great days in the sun!
I arrived Friday where Stace had happy hour for her co workers at the lake house. Martinis by the lake!!!!
Saturday: I drove over to Gainesville Marina and met up with JT and his wife (plus 2 super dogs) took his cabin cruiser out to a cove, tied up with several other boats and drank beer ate and floated all day. Got back to his slip, ordered pizza for 30 people and gorged! (RO...before you ask...we took pics...lots and lots of pics which JT will post this week, I think)
Sunday:Back to Stace & Bill's house. Went out on the wave runner all day, had people in and out all day...a funn and lazy day!! Shish kebabs, roasted sweet potatoes and salad for dinner. (lots of wine!;-) )
Monday: Drove back out to marina and went back out to the cove with JT and Amy....more boats out there this day...about 8 in all! Kids, dogs and people in the water...we were all water logged...but what funn! Drove back to the lake house and cooked ribs for Stace and her boyfriend...just the 3 of us...nice and quiet!!! Moonlight cruise on the pontoon....:wub:
Tuesday: more wave runnin, boating, swimming and funn! Drove back out to the marina to go out on JT's boat to watch fire works from below! Fabulous display (not as good a Macy's though....I am sure!:wub: ) but good none-the-less! Got back to lake house around 11:00 and CRASHED!
Wednesday...got up around 5:00 to help cook breakfast for airport bound guests...fell back to sleep, woke up at a more decent hour, drove home...and here I am catching up on my favorite people...I hope every one had a SAFE and FUNN 4th!!!!!

(he took tons of boat shots too...cauz he knows you are having sellers remorse! He is selling his beauty...and will have sellers remorse, too....but he says it won't last long once he doesn't have the gas fees, slip fees and payments!!!)

She is quite the globetrotter. I envy that girl. It occurred to me the other night that "you know who" has clipped my wings. I don't know how I could get away for 2 weeks. I wouldn't put her through that trauma so it looks like domestic trips for me. You go Freebirdl! :clap_1:

Next summer FOR SURE, we are thinking about doing Grayton.....I have my eye on a house already but we have to figure some details out...
