Antiques Roadshow

In Phoenix, I think. Just had a collection of Charles Schultz original drawings appraised at $450K! I love this show!

The only show I like better than the PBS Antiques Roadshow is the BBC one on BBC-A.

Nothing is better than when an understated Englishman (or Englishwoman) buys something for 2 Quid in a car-boot sale and finds out that it is worth 400,000P.

I haven't seen the BBC one, but will check it out! There was one several years ago in the SW with an Arapaho who brought in his family blanket that his Grandmother had sewn. The appraiser went on and on...."...........it isn't just a family heirloom, .....this is a National Treasure. I place a value of $500K on this.....". The owner was speechless and started to cry.

I still choke up myself.
