We heard that a South Walton player was injured in last night's game and flown by helicopter to the hospital in Pensacola? Anybody heard about his condition? Sorry, I don't know the young man's name.

My son (he was on the sidelines) is reporting that it was a concussion. Supposedly if there is any kind of head injury they have tp be airlifted as a precaution. I believe that he is back home.

Glad to hear it. But I wonder why airlifting to P'cola is necessary with Sacred Heart EC virtually around the corner. Trauma unit?

Anything head/neck related is an airlift. I guess our trauma isn't equipped for such injuries. This according to the teenaged son. It's probably a cya thing too.
