it's TOO DAMN HOT to go outside !!!! :bang: are you going? they had a good crowd down there last night, I have been in the house since wednesday, my Mom had a heart attack on Monday and I brought her home with me to take care of her for a while, life is just crazy sometimes.....but she is doing better now :wub:

Yeah, I'm going down, but I don't think we'll go until close to time for her to go onstage, which is 8:00. L'il Pea #4 and I have run some errands today, and I am m...e...l...t...i...n...g...! Ugh.

Sorry to hear about your Mom SL! Sounds like she's in good hands. ;-) I hope she has a speedy recovery and is up and about very soon.

this is a first for her, but I have to admit that I love taking care of my Mom, without our mothers where would we be !!!!! :wub: I just figure it is the least I can do for the woman who has put up with me for 38 years !!!! ;-)

i'm right there with ya - my pop had a heart attack while driving thru indy on the way home from my sister's. my mom made him pull over, and a policeman pulled over behind them because pop was weaving. mom said she thought he was having a heart attack and the policeman escorted them to the hospital entrance. of course this was the night before they were to leave for a 16 day trip to hawaii. :blink: all turned out well, tho. i hate thinking about my parents getting older, don't you ?

Yeah, it was great--a little, uh, warm, but great.
Sure, kids can go; no reason not to take them if they can sit through a concert. If you haven't been before, you need to know that if you want to spread out a blanket on the grass under the Arch, you'll be comfy but can't see the stage. Will just have to listen. If you want to see, then you have to sit on the Arch steps, which gives you a great view of the stage, but not as comfy as a blanket on the grass.

The steps would be fine...um, surely there are beverages there...or can you bring your own.

I went once last year, but we stayed on Eads bridge, so we could see or hear the band :floor: Didn't bring the kids to that one.

Vendors are right along the riverfront. Can't bring your own adult beverages, but other stuff is OK. Coolers are supposed to be a no-no, but they were letting them in on Saturday night. :idontno:

Ktschris WILL find a way to get her AB products on the arch grounds!!!! :floor:
