Allifunn. it's not that bad in Oregon, I grew up right around that area as a kid and since then it has really grown. Think of all that Oregon wine we drink......it's from this same area. Oregon is know for it being cold and wet and that makes for a really bad situation tho?
I didn't mean any disrespect...I only find it hard to believe that this whole thing occured with no one knowing...I believe that in this day and age it is hard to fathom no one was around to help! I know that Oregon , like the rest of the country, has some desolate places, but not 9 days worth...as I said , this whole story does not sound right to me.....:dunno:

Not only is it desolate with minimal population, it's bear country and they've been tracking bear tracks. Pretty worrisome.

He would have to be a survivalist to make it out.

The only thing that doesn't sound "right" to me is that it appears a seemingly intelligent man simply made an unwise decision; his emotions must have won out over reason.
The website says they believe he removed a pair of the pants in order to leave a trail.

I agree. I don't think it's fishy either. He's probably a techie geek and I'm just hoping he's smart enough to figure out the survivalist thing. I'm praying that they find him alive!
