presents our 1st Summer of
Art & Artists and Cooking Class
Mini Sessions
Art Minis
This summer, Compass Rose Academy will be offering age appropriate art classes for the children of our area. We will host four mini sessions, for children ages 3 through 6. Each week, children will learn about a famous artist or art style through children’s literature. We will then create art inspired by the present week’s book. Throughout each session students will be able to create high quality works of art using a variety of mediums (paint, pastel, etc.) and surfaces (glass, paper, canvas, etc.). Students will be inspired by viewing each artist’s work of art and will be encouraged to create something new that they can call their own!
