Wanna waste time at work?

Where to click with celebs

By CHRIS ROVZAR
DAILY NEWS FEATURE WRITER

You're busy at work, fully caffeinated and working on an important project. Suddenly, the need to look at something mindless - even just for a few minutes - takes over. If you could only pull out that US Weekly or People magazine and ogle a few paparazzi pics of celebs - but who knows when the boss will walk by and catch you?

To help get you through these periods when your brain craves ludicrous photos of the Olsen twins, snarky comments about Bennifer or salacious info on Lindsay's late night out, visit the following Web sites. They all have cult followings, and they all provide that vital pop-culture hit.

Just don't call us if you get caught.

Just Jared (www.justjared.com)

No, not the Subway sandwich guy. This Jared rounds up hard-to-get paparazzi shots. Looking for outtakes from the latest Pink video or embarrassing pictures of Ricky Martin cavorting on the beach in a Speedo? "J.J." is for you.

Perez Hilton (www.perezhilton.com) When you check into the Perez Hilton, you visit what Mr. Hilton himself calls "Hollywood's most hated Web site." Lately, though, the photoblogger has made friends with the very people he once skewered, like Paris Hilton (no relation) and Lindsay Lohan. He'll even post pics of himself with them at fabulous parties. But he hasn't lost his edge - he's still a cruel chronicler of the young and the (in)famous.

A Socialite's Life (www.socialitelife.com)

The socialite running this show, Miu von Furstenberg, is a fictional creation, but the dirt she gets is painfully real. "ASL" has celebrity candids and hard-to-find gossip (who bulks up with "Muscle Milk"?). If a celebrity drops his drawers in public or admits to a drug or alcohol problem, Miu is there, er, furst.

Go Fug Yourself (gofugyourself.typepad.com)

The classy Heather and Jessica, alternately known as the "Fug Girls," tear apart the worst of red-carpet fashion disasters - and do so with ferocious glee. While Fug isn't updated as often as some other sites, the fashion critiques are always reliably hilarious.

Pink Is the New Blog (www.pinkisthenewblog.com)

Does Britney Spears get fashion tips from Betty Rubble? Blogger Trent thinks so. He posts pics of your favorite stars, adding his own witty commentary in hot-pink bold type. It's as addictive as it is harsh, but it's obvious Trent loves the very celebs he likes to tease
