Yep, he set a whole new standard for being an arse - hard to do on a ski hill these days I might add.
Cousin Moon is a liftie at that resort and they are throwing the book at this guy because this is so out of line.
He's indefinitely banned from skiing at all the Vail Resorts, is banned indefinitely from their properties (they own 7 major ski areas and most of the lodging on them), and is facing charges for misdemeanor child abuse.
And many are calling for an investigation into his home life - thinking that if he punches a strange kid in the face in public, he can't be too controlled in his own home or with his own kid.
Now, I must say that if someone had run down and severely hurt his son on the main hill and then there was a confrontation, it would be a different story - but this was on the beginner hill and the girl was in a ski lesson (which for non-skiers means you are playing follow the instructor going less than 5 mph with your skis in a giant wedge and fall down or bump someone every 25' or so.)
