Atlanta Tornado Warning...some damage

Hey Beachrunner, you live in Douglas County, right? I just heard that the fire department reported that a tornado touched down there at about 6:45 this evening with tree and power line damage, is your place okay?

No, I'm down 85, not 20. I'll have to call my daughter to see if the weather was bad in Midtown.

Oh I wish I could, I am sick and I have so much work to do and GA plays Vandy Saturday for Homecoming. I am so stressed out I could probably use a few drinks there though. My mom and dad's neighbors are at the condo this weekend--I could tell them about it they are a lively bunch.

Well, from the tone of Glenn Burn's reports you would think an F5 tornado was hurling a nuclear warhead towards Atlanta. But, from what I hear, it was just some tree and powerline damage in Douglas and Cobb Counties--sounds like the usual GA thunderstorm stuff, even though there were several tornado warnings out.
