If y'all have friends in the N GA / Chattanooga, Mississippi and NE Alabama Area you might want to check in on them. Horrific damage. They have now dubbed it the "Storm of the Century". Over 200 dead and officials are projecting that will hit 300+. Finally got reliable internet at the office. I'm sure this is old news. Amazing how plugged in we are.

A friend of mine in Tuscaloosa is missing. His apartment building got wiped out. They have found his car but, as of this morning, not him...

Devastating!
Thanks for the reminder RO. I just e-mail a cousin that lives in Knoxville who I only make contact with 2 or 3 times a year. I have no idea how hard that area got hit.
Tough times ahead I'm sure.:(

Has anyone on SoWal heard from KDW? I think she is in Alabama, don't know how close to the storms she is.

Yes, she and her family are fine. They have no power, but feel very fortunate!

Crazy K has close family friends, one lost their home and the other lost their mother. So terribly sad.

Thank for checking on me! We are fine and very fortunate. The storms hit the North, South, East and West of us, but spared my community. We were without power for 4 days but that is nothing compared to what other people have had to endure. Thanks again!

Yes, we do. My sons girlfriend is a student at Tuscaloosa, University of Alabama. She was there when the tornado hit, but thankfully she was safe. My heart goes out to all that have lost their homes and to the families who have lost loved ones. I can't even imagine what they must be going through. Thank you for letting everyone know we were ok.
