aloha (awe low ha)
Is a word in the Hawaiian language that has many meanings, hello, goodbye and love.
Aloha is also a feeling, a way of going about things. To act with aloha is to be caring, giving, kind.

For sale is a piece I designed and fabricated during lockdown.
The piece features 16 inch tall letters, in a font of my own design, cut by hand out of USA made aluminum diamond plate.
The letters are attached to 5/4 { a full inch thick} old growth cypress boards that I got from Bruner lumber, {in Ponce de Leon fl} many years ago.
The letters are attached using stainless steel screws, and are held off of the lumber 1 inch by stainless steel tube spacers.
The front of the boards has a tung oil finish. Can be mounted indoors or outdoors. If mounted outdoors the letters will
oxidize, and the cypress will turn grey over time.

This is a large piece, 19 inches tall X 78 inches wide x 3.5 inches deep. It weighs 40 lbs.

This is a one of a kind piece and should last forever.
Price: $2400

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the effort to rebuild the last remaining gulf coast schooner "Governor Stone",
which was sunk and almost destroyed by hurricane Michael in 2018.
The vessel is being completely rebuilt by shipwrights at the old St Andrews school in Panama City.
