Bike lane over Lake Powell

Hi folks! I read somewhere that the project to add the walk/bike lane over Lake Powell, from the Walton County line, is supposedly "underway." Does anyone know if that's the case, and/or know the timeline on this by chance?

They have already moved the eastbound lanes of the bridge northward for the bike path. They are doing the clearing on either side of the bridge in preparation for the bike path.
