Beach Comber
Bring your furry, feathered, or scaly friends to our annual Blessing of the Pets on Saturday, October 10 at 10 a.m. under the oaks at Point Washington United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome! Pastor Jean will gladly bless any pet that day as we give thanks to God for enriching our lives with our animal friends.
A few details to know:
Please bring pets leashed or in a secure carrier.
If your pet doesn’t play well with others, feel free to just bring a photo or keep one on your phone.
In case of bad weather, we will meet in the FLC across the street.
We’ll also be collecting donations for the Paw Pantry established by Dog-Harmony and Caring & Sharing of South Walton, part of the Keeping Dogs in Homes program. The pantry provides local families with food for their canine family members. If you’d like, bring an unopened bag of dry dog food to support this effort (donations are appreciated but not required).
Come and join us under the oaks for a morning of joy, community, and God’s blessing on all creatures great and small!
