Blue Mabel is hiring a Sous Chef/Manager!

Our Culinary Group is Growing! Cowgirl Hospitality Group (Blue Mabel) on the Panhandle of Florida has an excellent opportunity for Sous Chef.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the daily operation of the high-volume kitchen.
• Competent independent person.
• Training and development of all back of house management and hourly staff, scheduling, meeting, or exceeding budgeted labor and other cost centers, as well as overseeing the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, and sanitation.
• Ensure excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes" attitude, and a hands-on, lead by example management style.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of culinary cooking experience, with at least 2 years in management, in a full-service, structured dining establishment.
• Strong knowledge of back-of-the-house operations including recipe development, line execution, staff training and development, inventory ordering and management, and food safety.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to all OSHA regulations.
• Willing to learn and understand cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability. • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Strong communication and leadership skills combined with good computer skills.
• Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic.

Must be knowledgeable about this area and have a plan for relocation if you do currently reside within driving distance of Santa Rosa Beach Florida (We are located on the panhandle of Florida, between Destin and Panama City Beach... spitting distance from the ocean). We are open to someone making a resident change, we just need to know your plan. This is a position we are immediately interviewing and filling when the right person is found.
