I can't stand this! Snow expected on Friday and I still have some leaves that need raking.I hate dried up fall leaves sticking up out of fresh snow!
I can imagine! That never happens here....but with this wind, there won't be many leaves left by in the morning!
I hate cold weather, and I am not sorry about it! (sorry audie). It was near 70 today here. Will not get out of the 30's on Friday.BRRRR.....I hate it, I tell you!!

DITTO to all of the above. Dropping 40 degrees is hard on the OLD body.
destindreamin, we will be getting that tomorrow. We have a 100% chance of rain and t-storms tomorrow with a high in the mid 60's but our temps are due to fall throughout the afternoon and overnight we can expect possibly a little accumulation of winter mix, but not much, significant accumulation is expected in NW Tennessee though. Temps today were over 70. Just a little wind outside right now. As usual, we get slighted, I would like a good snow, no ice. Seems Interstate 40 is the dividing line. Everything north gets the worst. As far as that goes though, our home is north of 40 also, but barely. With my son being in Clarksville now, I know they will get something out of this. He said they get significant snow every time a system comes across the state.

Rain and thunderstorms overnight. Temps falling today. Some snow maybe...yeah, right. Mainly just cold....
dd...be careful driving today, I just saw something frozen falling from the sky in Ft. W....you would think the world was coming to an end! Schools and businesses are closing right and left. I did go to the grocery store yesterday and must say we had a blast standing in line....we were all laughing at ourselves. It's amazing how you can meet such great people in the grocery store! The temp in my house has dropped almost 10 degrees!
Our getting anything depends if there is still moisture in the area when the cold front comes in, as they are saying our temps now won't start dropping until around 6:00 p.m. tonight with our best chance of a mix coming between 12 AM and 3 AM. So we probably won't have anything other than the cold tomorrow. It is 65 right now with some gusty winds. Supposed to be around 68 today and 36 or 37 tomorrow.

Do you think St. Bernard's would tote a keg of margaritas? I don't think a Chihuahua could carry more than a shot glass full.
