Are they testing bombs tonight? My house is shaking. Isn't it late to test? Are there rules/laws about when you can test?

I think they bomb when they want to bomb.
Last year while we were still living up in Crestview, we'd be feeling the thumping at midnight some nights.
Most of the time I think I must just phase it out. It's just when the house rocks or my computer monitors shake that I notice the bombing. Sometimes I yell down stairs at my father-in-law to see what he's banging on before I realize it's just bombing practice.

Maybe they are practicing some night runs. I don't think the Sun setting has ever stopped them from dropping the bombs.

The sound of freedomwho says we are free? Compared to some other people, maybe, but not free enough for my book. ;-)

I don't know if there is a correlation or not but the past couple of times they have been bombing, I have gotten very nauseous. I'm not sure if it's the shaking of the house; maybe we feel it more intensely on the bay.
I just think that even the military should have some guidelines of "the right of an individual to have quiet enjoyment at a reasonable time period." Construction stops at an enforced time, why can't they do night testing as soon as it gets dark, not at 8:00 at night? I think I heard and felt them til around 9:00.
I am not anti-military but I live here too!

It's not important to the hierarchy at Eglin unless everyone complains.

For example, Eglin doesn't want tall buildings which will interfear with there military communications around here. They will stop a developer much faster than the Okaloosa or Walton County will. They don't play around.
