I wonder how long before people start seeing the face of Jesus in the BP oil slick?

You would have thought that the sinners would have learned their lesson after Katrina & seen clearly that God was angry with them for their wicked ways! But no! They kept being wicked & God had to cause the oil rig to explode, killing 11 workers & putting sinners out of work & spoiling the Gulf coast for humans & wildlife alike.

All Barbara is trying to say is that any misfortune in anyone's life is the result of God showing his displeasure w/ that person's morality.

We should all live more morally & then nothing bad would ever happen to any of us.

How hard could that be?

And you wonder why South Walton can't agree on anything! It's seems to me, considering the catastrophic nature of the oil spill, one would be more inclined to want God's intervention! From what I can see, it will take a miracle!

Very true. After all, Christians would argue that Jesus was the most moral person to ever walk the earth, and nothing bad ever happened to him. Oh, wait. . . . never mind. ;-)

Christians, by definition, follow the Christ - Jesus - right? The guy who said, "I come to bring you a NEW covenant." Let's stick with the new stuff, okay? Really, it's much better.
