South Walton’s Tourist Development Council is looking for Brand Ambassadors to join its Beach Appreciation Team. If you’re an outgoing and enthusiastic individual (who doesn’t mind spending time at beautiful beaches) then this is the job for you.
As part of the Beach Appreciation Team, you’ll play an integral role in the destination’s marketing efforts throughout the summer.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Representing South Walton as a Brand Ambassador three to four days a week, on-site at the beaches
- Interviewing families to learn about vacation trend information
- Taking photographs of visiting families and obtaining photo releases
- Uploading photographs to a specified website as part of a social media campaign
- Distributing promotional materials
- Assisting with in-office tasks on an as-needed basis
- Producing recap reports
The hourly rate for this position is $10/hour. You will also receive a new iPad2, which will be used in your brand ambassador responsibilities, but will be yours to keep after satisfactory completion of the position.
You would be expected to provide your own source of transportation. Familiarity with social media is a must. Some college education in public relations/marketing and/or communications is preferred.
