By referencing other media outlets he's covering the Tiger Woods story as much as anybody. I guess he's intentionally poking fun at himself in the process?? From the comments it doesn't look like anybody else saw it that way. Now, I wonder how much that golf club would sell for on ebay....

There are several types of wedges. We don't know which one Elin chose ... but Tiger typically only carries a lob wedge and a sand wedge.



For all you non-golfers, a wedge is used for short shots -- usually around the green. It's angled with a high loft.
Golfers use wedges to get out of tight spots and unplayable lies. Oh the iron-y.

And, a purported second mistress that he cheated with on the mistress and the wife? OH my! I'll bet some of those endorsement contracts wither away in 2010.
