Just today I was clicking two pencils together wishing I was eating sushi for lunch...instead of green beans. SIGH

Funny you say that John. I took my chopsticks with me for a long journey and they were my only eating utensil of choice for four months. They are very light weight and you can make more if they are broken or lost. Only one of my original chopsticks survived the trip. ;-)

One of our local sushi joints (Sushi Nobi) stores you chop sticks for you (for a nominal fee of course ;-) )

I am going to gripe for a minute only - there is no good sushi in Sowal - there are some that are passable, ok, but nothing that blows your taste buds away.
Fish out of Water - sashimi is good but sushi is utterly banal
Fish House - not good even though some people rave about it - just not good enough
Blue Buddha - too much rice, not enough fish and not creative enough
Basmati - again just OK - not great

I know I am picky but does anyone have any other suggestions for someone who loves sashimi and sushi and the above listed places just do not cut it??

sounds reasonable to me...I would have thought they'd been doin' this a long time ago...I sure would have....for a culture that uses only chop stix...I would have a set for every room! (just like my reading glasses)

How about ivory chop stix instead of wood? Then the animal activists would complain?!
