It's time for Cardinal Nation to step up!!! We do not want to go back to Detroit!!!

What an awesome game!! :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:

I don't want them to have to go to back to Detroit either. I have always liked the Cardinals. I think they will wrap it up tomorrow night.

I am waaayyyy behind here. Last time I read anything about the cardinals on this board, they couldn't win a game and ktchris posted a whenever the Cards were discussed. When did they get good?

Go Cards! I'd love to see them win.

Dreary and raining here today, but they say they're going to get the game in tonight. They better, because I'm working late for a coworker who has tickets...

When did they get good . . . . well, this may be the year where you just have to say - they were the BEST of the WORST. At least it kept the season interesting. :clap_1:

Ugh, it is positively pouring! That's bad. Spent the whole morning in the coffee shop watching it rain. That's good.

Still raining and REALLY windy. Good night to stay home and, uh, watch a game...?

That's the plan, but the rain had stopped and started again; Mr. Pod says he doesn't know how they'll be able to play on that waterlogged field.

Nope....they have state-of-the-art drainage!! Field will be in great shape!!! Well maybe not the warning track. It's a great night for baseball!!!!

Yeah, but the outfield still gets so wet--all the slipping going on last night! 'Course, it was mainly the other guys, so no worries. ;-)

Pea and lucky....Mr. Kitty is talking with Belleville right now! His bro is going to the game tonight.

MMMMM Imo's pizza and a Cards Game....don't forget the Budweisers! Now that's a way to spend a Friday night......

GO CARDS!!!!!!

Are they going to get to play the game tonight? They are talking on the news that no one may get to celebrate tonight. I know we finally had some clearing earlier in the day and then we had a downpour with the sun out and now it has turned off very cloud and getting cold and the wind is periodically gusting around 25 mph. They are saying there could be more rain here.

HELLO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woo Hoo !!!!! CARDINALS !!!!!!!!!!!!! # 1

Proved once again, World Series time, it's all about pitching. Most power hitters struggled, MVP of Series Eckstein smallest player, but plays with heart.... Now he has a new Corvette (bet he won't keep it)....

Eckstein has never bought himself a new car, whenever the Cardinals go to the airport for a road trip, everybody wants to ride with him in his older car, so they can leave their expensive cars at home.

2006 World Champion Cardinals !!!!!
