I just checked with Caring and Sharing and there has been no break in. But, as Scoot pointed out, I am sure they would be happy tto receive any donations at this time.

[b]Caring and Sharing from Publix at Watercolor[/b]

There were some folks collecting food in front of the Watercolor Publix last Wednesday.  So, my mom and I bought some things to donate but when we came out,  drop point and people were already gone.  I was just sort of standing there, bags in hand, when the manager told me that Care and Share picks up day old bread regularly. He suggested that I leave the goods at the store.  I know that makes it easier to pitch in and help with the food situation for a lot of people. The Caring and Sharing building is not always on the beaten path for me, but I always intend to get by. Maybe the Publix could put up a sign or something.

I heard an early evening report of a break in at this food bank, but no details?  Do we need to have an immediate effort to replenish so close to Thanksgiving?
