I just spoke to my agent at Harmon and Gilmore concernig a new requirement from Citizens Wind storm that if the roof is over 25 years old it needs to be inspected??? Has anyone else heard of this? They said it was a new requirement this year. I had the shingles replaced after Dennis by buying the materials from Home depot and having a local guy do it. So all I have is the receipt for materials. The inspection findings would need to be in the form of a letter that needs to go to the Insurance Company. Basically, has anyone else been asked to do this? Does anyone know a certified house inspector who could inspect the roof to indicate it's condition and life expectancy? Apparently they need a contractor license number. Thanks for any help
