Cruise Ship Report Card

Consider a cruise line's environmental impact before you book your next getaway.

Many cruise lines offer ideal family getaways with their all-inclusive offers and kid-centric activities. However, with this convenience also comes a large tax on our environment. Ships that carry up to 7,000 passengers emit a whole lot of emissions. They pollute the air we breath and water we recreate. However, not all cruise lines are the same. Some do a better job of reducing their environmental impacts (for instance Holland America Line). The good people at Friends of the Earth have put together a handy report card on some of the biggest names in the cruise line industry. Please take a look before you book your next cruise.
