Our house here goes on the market Monday.
We are coming down Sept. 8th weekend for a final house hunt blitz, followed by making an offer(s). So mid, late fall?? My goal is definitely for sure before T-giving, but cross your fingers for sooner.

I think we should relieve the Dargs of the pressure of finding a new vacation spot. The "SoWal Vacation Club Membership" would be just the thing for them--all of us who don't live in SoWal could offer one week a year to the Dargs in exchange for one week at our homes. Just think, the Dargs could have holidays in SL, Indy, Dallas, the Atl, the list goes on and on! I can't see why they won't jump at the opportunity.

well, sowal locals aren't always on vacation, cause we're working and going about our lives just like people elsewhere. but somehow we don't feel the need to go on vacation much. my best girlfriend plans her infrequent travels so that she can be back by the weekend - she just can't bear to miss a weekened in sowal. and she's lived here about 30 years.
we went on vacation in sowal twice during the spring. packed our bags and drove 6 or 7 miles all the way to Watersound for a lovely stay at the beach. very relaxing drive.
(and went to Fernandina Beach (amelia Island) and truly enjoyed an entirely different part of Fla on the Atlantic).

You're trying to weasel out of vacation club membership. :nono1: I've seen your dogs and they're adorable! Anyone on SoWal would instantly adopt them.
jdarg: everyone you've ever known (family, friends, aquaintances) will come and stay at your house at least once, usually repeatedly over the years...
