We seem to have lost contact with Cork and Sunshine as well. :(

Yes, where are these guys. Actually, I saw Sunshine on Sunday ( I guess that makes sense because you would expect to see the Sun shine on Sunday.) while on the beach. She is doing well and enjoying life.

I recall listening to a few people saying that they love you dearly and are glad to hear that you are trying to eat well, cut back drinking, and exercise regularly, but I don't recall saying anything about you, especially anything which would hurt your feelings. :idontno:

I am here Miss Kitty. I have been through a lot in that last few days. You are going to hate that you asked about me...but here goes. One of my very best friends in the whole world passed away last Friday. She was one of the sweetest woman I have ever met. She was raising 2 of her grandchildren, one is 12 and one will graduate from high school this year. She was married to her wonderful, sweet husband for 38 years. I have been spending alot of time with them. I had to help with her funeral and get things together for her husband. Just when I was somewhat getting back to "normal", my daddy called me yesterday to tell me that he has to have a heart catherization done this Friday. They will probably have to put a stent in his heart. He already has 3. I felt fine about it until my brother called me this morning and told me that we really needed to go down there. My daddy will be in Gainesville, FL at Shands Hospital. My brother told me that he didn't feel good about things, but that daddy would never tell us if it was worse than it was, and I know he wouldn't. So, my brother and I are leaving tomorrow for Gainesville. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for asking about me. I will be back to my usual self soon I hope!!!!! Miss you guys.

So sorry about your sweet friend Darlene. I'm glad you could be there to help her husband through some extremely difficult days. I know he will have your friendship and caring in the days to come.

sorry to hear about all you are going thru kd... it's terrible to lose someone you love..

i just went thru the same thing with my pop a couple of weeks ago. 3 yrs ago he had a heart attack - while driving home from my sister's house - luckily they were passing thru indy at the time.... he had pulled over, and a police man pulled over to see if they needed help and escorted them with sirens blaring to the hospital. he had 3 stents put in then, and 2 more a couple of weeks ago. he had his heart attack the night before they were to leave for hawaii for 3 weeks to go visit his best friend. take heart, they can do amazing things nowadays with the ole ticker, i see it every day. will be thinking of you and all your loved ones at this time.....
