While doing some yard work near our dock today, we discovered this impressive gift. It was located less than 10 feet from the dock, which is attached to the house. I'll take another photo with a measuring tape next to it if it will help identify this friend. It was not a small animal, and I haven't seen any cows in the bayou to blame it on.

My wife and I saw a black bear hanging out on our driveway and knocking over our garbage cans last Wednesday. We live in Grayton Beach. He was thin but had no problem finding what he was looking for in our garbage.

Trust me honey, I struggled with how to write this! My ideal thread would've said "Does a bear Tooot in the woods near my house 15 feet from where the puckin'hell I sleep every darned night!? ok but I thought better of it. 😀 ! Oh and I did google it and it appears to be a bear taking a dookie before or after his swim in the bayou. Never a dull moment out here!
