First post....here goes.
I love South Walton and try to get there as often as possible.
Something amazing happens to me as soon as I make the turn off 98 onto 331....seriously, a smile that won't quit comes over me. I roll the windows down (and they stay that way) and breathe in the salty air, and then I run down to the beach to put my feet in the sand and gulf. I just can't get enough! I dream a sweet little dream of living there (someday).
Grayton Beach is where we usually stay, sometimes Seagrove. I love a really good grouper sandwich and fresh shrimp, and oysters on the half shell, and key lime pie (of course). I love to bike, walk on the beach, swim, and just watch my kids (ages 10 and 14) have fun.
At home I am a Nurse Practitioner and enjoy photography (would love for it to be more than a hobby someday). I am looking forward to our next trip to Grayton at the end of June....will be celebrating my daughter's 11th birthday!

me too!
First of all Welcome to the forum!
I enjoyed reading your post, I feel exactly the same way.
We visited Seacrest Beach for the first time April 2009 and were just blown away at how nice it is......the gorgeous beaches and lovely little seaside towns all unique in their own way.
We liked the area so much we bought a condo overlooking the 12,000 SF pool in Seacrest Beach. The condo was a short sale and we went through 8 months of aggravation with the process but we finally got it and visited at Spring Break for the first time as owners. We just adore being there and, even though I just lost my job, we will do just about anything to hold onto the condo, it is our dream place at the beach!
Coincidentally my wife is a Nurse Practitioner too.....😀
I hope you manage to get back to Grayton or Seagrove soon and enjoy all the good people, bars and restaurants soon. It's the best place I know!
Andy
