Does anyone have any? Easter Egg hunts? homemade baskets?

We make each other a funny egg before we sit down to eat.
Also, we got into the tradition of giving a Spring Memo pad to each other.
We're not much candy eaters with the exception of some chocolate.

:( ...sorry, but it makes me sad not to have my little bunnies around for Easter anymore.

:( It won't be long before you have grandbunnies.
I am sure SJ could work something out though in the meantime. I'm betting by Easter he'll have more than he can handle.

I'm sure the family is waiting for you to volunteer to have it at your house. This makes me realize that I haven't heard from my mother about Easter. I wonder if she is waiting on me to volunteer????

Mango, no traditions except Easter lunch. When the kids (neices and nephews) were small we always hid Easter eggs, nothing too exciting, the sugar took care of the exciting part.

I used to do baskets for my kids ...spring break always fell during Easter so when they were little we always went somewhere.... My fondest memory was going to Pidgeon Forge and staying in a wonderful cabin with another couple & their kids.
This year I am making my kids baskets again...but giving it to them this Sunday...I'll be in Augusta on Easter

well, my Bham family celebrates Easter in a big and traditional way, from the big Easter Sunday Mass complete with easter outfits, to easter baskets to a huge family lunch, usually homemade ravioli, and of course all the kids have easter egg hunts.

this year, we'll be on spring break celebrating easter on vacation, so won't be joining the big family. but we'll still celebrate with easter baskets, dyed eggs and a wonderful dinner. but we skip the easter outfits...

I remember growing up when we spent so much time finding the right easter clothes and shoes for all four of us kids. my poor mother!

Oh that's EXACTLY what it is!!!! But I always do T'giving. I do the publicity for a very large church in our area and Easter & Christmas are not relaxing holidays for me and I've told them all, under no uncertain terms, can I
EVER do one of these religious holidays. I will appear at their house with several prepared dishes but that's about it. And NONE of them even work!! Anyway, I started to call "one of them" (these are in-laws) last night but I felt like I was inviting myself! So, like every year, we play the waiting game.
