Why would you want to tenderize octopus? I tried baby octopus at a sushi restaurant once....bad texture, you could feel the little suctions cups... had bad dreams that night, never again.

I called Publix to ask how long they were good. They called me back 3 days later. We ate them anyway! I do have a jar looking very suspicious in the fridge right now, kind of shrivley!
