Telluride MountainFilm on Tour returns to WaterColor November 7th and 8th, 2008, on the big screen under the stars in the WaterColor amphitheater. This year?s festival celebrates the 30th anniversary of Telluride MountainFilm. Showtimes are 7-10 pm and gates open at 6 pm both nights, with a different program each night. Additional special guests and events will be announced through the summer and fall. Tickets are $25 per person for one night and $40 per person for two nights; kids 5-12 are ? off, and free to children under five. Lawn seating ? bring blankets and low back chairs.

never mind. after doing a bit of research, it seems the boys (swgb & scuba) will not be able to attend the hodown due to a prior engagement. I was thinking we would all have a wedding theme. the potential for this theme is huge.

however, I am also a big fan of no theme. just show up. eat. drink. laugh. pee in pants. go home. easy.

BTW- y'all have a wonderful time. Unfortunately I can not attend since I have a family wedding to go to. I'll be there sometime around that, for how long, not sure, not sure exactly when either. I have no clue where I'll be or who I am anymore. Carry on and have lots of funn.

This wedding thing suks! It's 2 days after my wedding anniversary, and my in-laws know we are always in sowal for that for years now. Can't believe the bride didn't have the foresight to realize this is going to seriously hamper her wedding gift. :angry: So now I'll be in Maryland or Marryland, as she calls it. :roll:

I am SO excited. Have never met a SoWaller, except Bobby at Collaborations before we had a SoWal. Our timing has always been off, but the 11th will be the start of our second week in paradise, so the Mr. and I will make it! What do we bring, when does it start, where do we park, ......? Can't wait to meet all of you. Lady D are you going to be there?

We will need a mini mango!!

I think we need to go in together and get a limo to shuttle between the beach wedding at Seagrove Beach and the SoWal soiree at Grayton Beach. Its not like we all haven't multi-tasked at several events during a day and evening. At least it is the fall season, and we can layer our ensembles.

Will this work or are we traveling on surface streets?

Soiree and A Kayak for Butter

Wouldn't you just know it! I went ahead and made airline reservations but won't arrive until late in the evening on October 11th. Hopefully, Butter and I will see most of you here and there...while we are there. We'll be there Oct. 11 through 20. No hurricanes or tropical storms then, please.

Butter has a new kayak up in Bainbridge Island. He fits handily into the fore hatch. In his international distress orange bandana (matches the cockpit trim and racing stripe on the boat), he looks quite jaunty...a fuzzy bowsprit. Even has a little doggy flotation device in orange, with a handle on the top so that you can pick him up like a lunch box. Very cute.

well I should hope so!!! we're planning a wedding reception partay hodown... it may be a little unconventional.
