My favorite that Sweet Pea knows is, "Go back to sleep, 30 minutes."
And, she does....for exactly 30 minutes!
This, usually on Sat. and Sun. AM.

My dogs not only understand phrases, but the damned brainiacs could probably win a spelling bee... Some of their favorites:
W-A-L-K
R-I-D-E
T-R-E-A-T
And finally, the dreaded B-A-T-H...
Note to self: learn sign language...
What she said. Yep, that's Maggie.

Overachiever Dog of Professor.LOL. Why do dogs love the beach so much?Sweet Pea also knows, "Go to the beach, git in the truck." "The other truck." She gets confused sometimes.
Cowboy knows a couple of words, "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" That's the main one at his witching hour of 3AM and he starts grooming himself, shakin the bed.

My mom's old dog's favorite:
"Are you ready for bed? Let's go!"

Yup, that's one of Rufus' (my avatar) favorites:
"Night-night?"
He'll run straight for the bedroom, and if I stop along the way he'll come back and circle my legs until I follow him. It's his favorite time of day...

My shetland sheepdog, Cajun, also gets excited when I say Daddy. He looks at the door leading to the garage and turns his head. But the word is Flyswatter. When he barks, which shetland sheepdogs do alot, I just say, "I'm gonna get the flyswatter," And he puts his head down and stops barking and lays down. I've never hit him with it. He's just afraid of it.
