Did you read the news today of the fellow in New Mexico who caught a mouse and took it outdoors and threw it in his burnpile. It caught on fire but ran back into the house and caught the house on fire. 😱

I don't think that man will ever be cruel to creatures again. He paid a high price for being inhumane. (And no, I hate rodents, but I can't see burning one alive.)

That was my first thought too Mermaid! I hate rodents too, but to burn it alive seems so cruel. I'm sorry the guy's house caught fire, but he did it to himself 😱

Well, then I guess it is good for the mouse.
Here is a gross mouse story. Troubles, my cat that is NOT supposed to be outside, but goes outside because it is beyond my control, loves to hunt. Sometime this week he caught and ate a mouse- all but his head. MacGregor the dog found it in the yard and has somewhat "adopted" it. He gently picks it up and carries it around- doesn't eat it. Then he'll drop it and stand guard over it. I have to go out in the yard to get him, but he always hides the dang head before I can find it. It's his little buddy.😱
