Nice try but that link has very little info and includes the Gulf. There was a recent thread about Oyster Lake fishing. Use forum search function for "Oyster Lake fishing" also Google "SoWal Forum Oyster Lake fishing".

it's brackish water and very shallow around the edges. Your best bet bank fishing will probably be along the bike/pedestrian path along 30a and possibly from the causeway bridge on the east end. I've heard of bass, speckled trout and some redfish being caught there. I'd throw a beetle spin or redfish magic (spinners). I wouldn't eat anything out of there though.

There is a nice small craft launch at the end of East Hewitt Rd only about 2 miles from Oyster Lake. Would be a good place to put in a kayak or other small craft. The flats to the right of the launch will have specs and reds. good luck

To clarify, the launch referenced is to the bay and not Oyster Lake.
