Thought I'd give yall a mid trip fishing update. We have caught numerous ladyfish from the beach and in kayaks using yozuris, spoons, and finger mullet. A few mangrove snapper from the lakes have made for some good eating. However, the highlight so far has been a 20# king mackerel my little brother caught this morning while drifting a cigar minnow. THe giant fish almost towed him out to sea (any mackerel recipes anybody?). Aight, Im heading back out after the rain quits. I'll keep yall posted....THis is awesome THanks for all the tips i recieved on here earlier. They are coming in handy!
