Ok. I am a wuss.
Most of you probably wear flip flops most of the year. Me, not so much. I wait until the temps are at least 75. I can't help it, I have cold feet. But, when I do don them the first few times, they rub my toes raw in between my big toe and next toe. Eventually, I get toughened up, but...ouch. Am I the only one?:idontno:

Buy a pair with the adjustable flap so there is no thingy between your toes.

Yes, if they are made of plastic/rubber type material. Look for leather or cloth.

That would be a sandal and not a flip flop.

:doh:Thanks! I do have some plastic/rubber ones that I like, but may have to give them up for comfort.

DD, I'm the same way - leather, cloth, plastic, strap configuration, $$, cheap, it doesn't matter.
Just wear yours around the house for a couple hours each day (instead of slippers or regular shoes) to get your feet used to them again.
And don't forget the pedicure!

Thank you.
Yeah, I try doing that, but inevitably I have to run to the store, throw them on and I'm limping by the time I get back.
Gotcha on the pedicure.

Target carries Mossimo flip-flops, which are cloth, with a wider strap and a thicker sole.....I usually buy two pairs to get me through the year (I'm no wuss; I wear them year-round!). They're usually in the $14 range per pair, which is somewhat reasonable IMHO.

Go barefoot, like the ancient neandertals that once densely populated the beaches of SoWal. No, wait, those were Spring Breakers.
Nevermind.

That's rates both a "Big 10-4, Good Buddy," and an "Amen, brother!"

I don't think I have ever had a problem with Havianas. That said, I own 8 different colors of them and only wear havis or running shoes. I put on "regular" shoes about a dozen times a year.

I just told my daughter last night I wish I had a job where I could wear flip flops every day. 😀

Yellowbox flip flops are comfy and reasonably priced. The ones that are not jeweled have the most comfortable thingy between the toes.

DD, I get blisters from Old Navy flip-flops and the Tory Burch pair I bought (and never wear). Gap flip-flops cause me no problems. My favorite ones are Croc flip-flops and the fake Croc flip-flops from Publix. I also love the orange flip-flops with "diamonds" on them from Mango.
Our daughter wears flip-flops 99% of the time, year-round, even when she lived in Cambridge.😱
I go barefoot at home year-round. When our dog sees me put shoes on, she gets into her crate because she knows I'm going somewhere.

I am with you DD. I can only wear leather or cloth. The plastic ones kill me! Hope you find some you love!

Make sure you don't leave your crocs outside in the sun to dry. Once after being at the beach I left mine outside, and they shrank from a 9 to an 8!

Although I haven't met her, I am a fan of Pepper!
:shock:10/4 on the croc tip.
