It's very, very quiet around here. ;-)

UK/LSU game was 49-0 LSU in the fourth quarter. Florida lost to Auburn 27-17 and Georgia lost to Vandy 24-22 today, and Alabama beat Ole Miss in overtime 26-23! The Georgia and Florida losses today have helped out Tennessee.

no joke. Funny when the ball falls in the other court! I have to say...it was a good game. And we needed that. But Florida has a ridiculous schedule. And everyone should be sensitive to that. FLA club watched the game at the bar we did, and we bought them shots. SEC's a family, and we get that. So it was a good win, but you know what it feels like when you think it's your year and you get beat. By a good team. So high five to TFT, BR and Kurt of course.

That's really nice of you, Kimmi! The sportscasters were talking about the curse of being #2. Auburn got hit by it last week, so last night was our turn. Very disappointing.

Sorry, but don't blame it on a "curse" or being "off". We played a great 1st half and took it to Auburn. They kept fighting, especially after the half, and retook their turf. We made mistakes, but they took advantage of them. Auburn is a good team - a top ten team in the SEC at night in their stadium - don't be too upset about losing to them. Losing when you give it your best shot isn't embarrassing. What's embarrassing is when some so-called fans act badly after losing. Take it like a man.

And for sure don't be calling AU unimpressive.

I never dissed AU. Our defense held them at times, as evidenced by their having to resort to 4 field goals instead of 7's. But our penalties are killing us, and our defense didn't stop them from making the third-down conversions. What took them over the top, IMO, was that after they were only 6 points down at halftime, they realized they could do it. It totally energized the fans, and as Gators we know what a factor that plays.

The only good news is that we lost to a former #2 team; they lost to Arkansas.

The "#2 curse" is just the theory from the guys on TV who make the big bucks, and if it's wrong, maybe someone else should be making the big bucks from post-game analysis.

I'm bummed out, but we almost had a tragedy at our house this weekend that makes Florida losing look totally unimportant.

I hope Urban makes them run until they puke their guts out. They have the talent for a national championship - the sports heads were agreeing on Saturday AM. OOPS!
