FOX ATTACK REPORTED IN BLUEWATER BAY
A Windward Way resident in Bluewater Bay is undergoing treatment after being bitten by a suspected rabid fox Wednesday around 11 a.m. The victim says he was standing in his driveway when he noticed a small grey fox nearby. The animal bit him on the foot, then ran away. The victim went to Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville for treatment.
OCSO Deputy Frank Taylor warns residents to keep an eye out for any animals acting strangely. Foxes are extremely cautious by nature and will not typically confront a human in broad daylight.

I've seen a couple of foxes on the side of the road, but they usually run away when the headlights hit them.

I haven't seen any foxes, but there sure are a lot of cougars down there!

I've seen them at times around here, including one that looked as healthy as could be who was calmly trotting across the BWB driving range like he owned the place.

Also a road kill one on FL 20 right across from the state park entrance in the past week.
