Okay so I saw Spider Man 3 tonight. I will let everyone see it before I weigh in. Several bizzare happenings. 1) This grown couple near us talked in normal conversation tone throughout the ENTIRE movie. I was about to blow a gasket and then throw some punches. 2) Gross and I kid you not, bed bugs came out of the seats and attacked my date and me. At first I thought the seat was just creating some static and tingling my hair but then I actually felt someting crawl on my neck, grabbed it and smooshed it and it did indeed turn out to be a bed bug. My date is an ecologist so she confirmed. Later I had more crawl on me and then she had some on her. Needless to say we raced home for a good scrubbing in the shower.

It was so not what I expected. In fact the story line was rather weird for a Spider Man movie. But, the special effects were great, especially the construction crane scene.

:shock: Are bed bugs the same as that other 4 letter word that we do not utter in my house? Ick, fo sho. We had a lovely experience with the little critters after camp one year. I shutter and itch just thinking about it. :shock:

Well not exaclty like lice. Bed bugs come out of fabrics from say hotel beds and drapes, or movie theatre chairs and bite and suck blood then venture back to lay eggs. They also lay eggs on your body, hair and clothing. These eggs will fall off an hatch in other places, so that is how they are spread. The swankiest of hotels and resorts even have bed bug infestations.

These are lice at different ages. Check out the one in the middle and then look at the one on BSmart's hand in the photo.

And I'm really glad I didn't read this thread last night - I'd have never slept. Bsmart, I don't care what kind of bugs they were - that's just vile. If you didn't have time to report the problem to the mgmt before you left in such a hurry, make sure you do so today!
