Fonville Press is actively seeking positive and compassionate front runners and cashiers to join the team. For this position, candidates must uphold a guest-facing role and be able to continuously support and collaborate with staff. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performing side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
- Maintaining clean service areas throughout the shift
- Greeting guests as they are seated and responding appropriately to guest requests and needs
- Taking soiled tableware to the dish room and sort in designated areas
- Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring café and market spaces are neat, clean and organized
- Answering questions and making suggestions regarding food and beverage
- Using a POS to input orders for both the café and market
Minimum Requirements:
- Positive, go-getter attitude
- Ready to assist support staff as needed and be a team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing and walking with the occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
