wear white patent leather shoes(after labor day)
turn in assignment written in white in on black paper
throw television out dorm room window at noon
break up with boyfriend via txt msg. betch.
go to school as brandon teena(boys don't cry)

John R - all of that adds up to a typical day for some teens.

SJ - that is one thing that came to mind before I scrolled.

If it were me I would play hookie Friday and claim my Psych teacher made me. Get the teacher to put the assignment in writing so she'll have something to show to the principal Monday morning. If they buy it she'll get a day off and pass the assignment. If they don't buy it then she can NOT threaten to sue the school district which would be even more against the norm.

Could wear a fur coat to school.

It's not abnormal but is probably enough to get away with a day off from school.

I watched a 16 y.o. boy, one of the "cool kids," get dropped off at school the other day and he leaned over and kissed his dad goodbye - - in broad daylight - - for every kid to witness!!! I was even dumbstruck. I don't think I've seen a teen treat their parent within the social norm in years!! (It was actually very sweet, but brave. )

I'll cross my fingers and hope Philippa doesn't read the rest of this post because she'll probably say I'm blabbing again. (She really ought to be used to it by now. Really... :roll: ) I always told her that if she could eat a lot of beans and drink a bunch of Dr Pepper and try to fart and burp all day--around her boyfriend--and not want to crawl in a hole and die, then maybe, only maybe, she could consider sleeping with him (in the far distant future). Otherwise, no deal. Mind you, this only works if you're dealing with a girl who considers boys who do that totally gross. Otherwise you're giving out the green light. ;-)
