"There has to be some kind of control."

Pretty sad really, some of these folks are future legal scholars.

The petition they all signed:

"The undersigned hereby adamantly demand that the United States government shut down right wing hate sites. The hate speech propagated by sites like the Drudge Report, Hot Air, Instapundit, Big Government, and others must not be allowed to corrupt our political discourse any longer. These sites are dangerous not only to truth and freedom but also to our society as a whole. BAN THEM NOW!"

..and on a whim, would sign a petition supporting giving the federal government the power to ban anyone who promotes "the red neck agenda" as well. Now those are your kind of people aren’t they Bob?!

An amusing video showing the power of selective editing to prove a point. Jimmy Kimmel once got women to sign a petition to end womens sufferage.

that would never happen, this country is redneck central at it's rotten core....greedy, jingoistic, warlike, intolerant, and quite capable of imposing it's will on anyone who happens to disagree. our capitol should be dallas, and jesus nailed to an oil rig should be on all our currency.

If that image doesn't move people to alternative energy (and currency), I don't know what will. Please, let's keep Jesus off the windmills (and the peso).

I don't know where you come up with this wacky stuff. I think your view of people in this county is kind of sad. In my experience the people you always negatively stereotype are good, down home, friendly folks. Here's a suggestion - go to Oklahoma City, find a Waffle House, eat there at 3am. You might be surprised by what you find.

Isn't that a stereotype too? Just sayin'.

No, it's based on personal experience. My guess is Bob has never hob nobbed with the people he regularly denigrates.

So your waffle house experience in OK City was pleasant and the people were cordial. You must have stumbled into a wedding reception.
